Welcome to Saviano High Performance Tennis

Saviano High Performance Tennis Academy (SHPTA) is a world-class tennis-training academy for players who are aspiring to compete at the collegiate and/or professional levels. Founded and directed by Nick Saviano, who is internationally recognized as one of the top developmental coaches and educators in the game today, SHPTA opened in 2003 and quickly distinguished itself as one of the finest developmental programs in the world. In this short period of time, players training at SHPTA have won 13 USTA Super National titles, 7 Foreign National Junior Championships, 21 ITF junior events, Orange Bowl and Eddie Herr titles, ATP Future, Challenger, and Tour events, and countless other junior events. Of equal significance and pride is the fact that all of the players training at the academy have improved significantly and are moving toward achieving their developmental goals both on and off the court.

The guiding principles of SHPTA emanate from Nick Saviano’s personal and educational/coaching philosophies which he has developed during his 35 years of playing, coaching and educating. He believes that working with young people is a sacred trust and that tennis should be used as a vehicle by which to develop not only winners on the court, but to instill values, character, and a commitment to personal excellence that will make them winners in life. These philosophies are the foundation and guiding principles behind every decision made at the academy.
